About Gore Farm Bed and Breakfast

Gore Farm Bed and Breakfast is set in the heart of Cheshire's beautiful countryside. The Percival family has farmed the Gore since 1888 and they have owned it since the 1960's. The current owner is the sixth generation of the family to work the land. There are records of The Gore being farmed as long ago as 1733 and it was originally part of the Arley Estate. William Lyon, who later designed and built the new front of Arley hall, rebuilt the Gore farmhouse in 1752 for Peter Warburton. Following this, William altered and built the front of Belmont Hall in Great Budworth (now a private school). This charming 17/18th century farm house has a unique heritage and still maintains many of its original features such as stone floors and oak beams.
